KS-X: KTM Electric handmixer

The brief for this project revolved around the theoretical idea that KTM needed a hand mixer concept intended for their new line of kitchen appliances; KTM Kitchen. The product line was to be a collection of limited time promotional items intended to advertise their motorcycles and events to a new target group.

My objective for this project was to challenge myself technically and creatively to design a hand mixer that gives an example of how KTM’s design language can be adapted for a drastically different type of product.

It is worth noting, that while functionality took a back seat behind aesthetics, it was a close second and functionality was always considered when making design choices. With that being said, I would not say this concept is in anyway plausible because, while not impossible, manufacturing would be incredibly complex and unrealistically expensive for an electric hand mixer.

Looks cool though.
