As designers we are taught to be hyper conscious of the impact our products have on the world around us. However, sometimes it seems that no matter how much multicolored, recycled plastic we use or stripped down, mushroom based, manufacturing processes we implement, some bureaucratic system in the development pipeline is going to end up having the final say on whether or not your product ends up being a toxic bath-bomb for some kids in a third world country.
